Golf des Olonnes, Olonne sur Mer, 16km

The family-owned course is situated in the grounds of the historic Chateau de la Pierre Levee, and offers panoramic views of the Vendee, and is located close to the cosmopolitan beachside city of Les Sables d’ Olonne.

The course itself offers natural water hazards with lakes and ponds with plenty of sloping hills, making it a sporty and attractive course.

There are 2 distinct parts to the course, with the first 9 holes ideal for powerful drivers, whereas the back 9 offers the more strategic player the opportunity to shine with large bodies of water providing hazards.

La Domangere, Nesmy, 33km

Situated en route to La Rochelle, La Domangere has one of the highest slope ratings in France.

It is the ideal course for anyone looking to play a varied and exciting game, including playing the longest par 5 in France at 600m.

Port Bourgenay, Talmont St Hilaire, 34km

Located on the outskirts of the historic Talmont St Hilaire, Port Bourgenay offers 2 18 hole courses.

The first being a Championship course with views of the marina that winds itself through the forest.

The second is the only full sized pitch and putt in France, and offers golfers of all abilities the chance to improve their game.

St Jean de Monts Golf Club, St Jean de Monts, 38km

Ranked as one of the Top 10 courses on the Atlantic Coast, the course at St Jean de Monts is bordered by sandy beaches and pine forests, and offers views of the islands of the Ile d’ Yeu and Nourmoutier.

The course itself has some demanding holes through evergreen woodland, and opens up for the last few holes for a true links finish.

The clubhouse and restaurant has a sundeck with views overlooking the ocean.
